A recent session with dear friends before they welcome a springtime daughter.
Much has been said about the powerful effect of expressing gratitude on a daily basis. In our hurried lives, it takes conscious effort to pause and reflect on our many blessings. When I do carve out this moment for myself, I always feel lighter and more grounded in what truly matters.
I am continually grateful to the families who choose me to photograph them. I have been photographing Kerri & James since their eldest son, Quinton was a small baby over 12 years ago. They have since grown to a family of six. While I was in Toronto last month, we met for our annual nature walk near Lake Ontario.
Documenting the same families over the years is definitely one of the highlights of my work.
Happy Canadian Thanksgiving, everyone.
Remember Clare?
Well, here she is again with her mama and two little sisters. I love any opportunity to spend time with this adventurous and fun-loving family. We passed a great afternoon together, exploring new parts of Beacon Hill Park, running through the daffodils, and soaking up the sights and sounds of spring.
I have a special fondness for sisters (I have 3 myself) so I loved spending time with these girls and their parents.
