May gives us great weather for outdoor parties and we had fun celebrating Lleyton's birthday with his family and friends. The kids worked up a big appetite on the trampoline and quickly devoured all the hotdogs and treats.
We hope 5 is a great year, Lleyton!
Remember Clare?
Well, here she is again with her mama and two little sisters. I love any opportunity to spend time with this adventurous and fun-loving family. We passed a great afternoon together, exploring new parts of Beacon Hill Park, running through the daffodils, and soaking up the sights and sounds of spring.
I have a special fondness for sisters (I have 3 myself) so I loved spending time with these girls and their parents.
On this grey, wintry day, it's comforting to reflect upon a favourite wedding from 2014. Cailin & Tim were married on a warm, September afternoon at the Oak Bay Beach Hotel in Victoria, BC. It was the kind of celebration that checks all the boxes - oceanfront venue, glowy autumn light, thoughtful details, wonderful guests, and a couple who are beautiful and genuine. There was joy and laughter and at the same time, deep sorrow for the recent loss of close family.
